Dr Dan Sado

Dr Dan Sado is a multiple international and national award winning Cardiology Consultant. He treats patients with all potential heart symptoms – chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, feinting and ankle swelling. He has particular subspecialty interest in heart failure, myocarditis, pericarditis, long COVID and heart disease in patients with cancer.

Experience

Dr Sado is a training programme director for South Thames Cardiology trainees and sits on the UK national startegic advisory committee for cardiology education. He was the co lead for the national heart failure curriculum redesign in the UK.

He is also an elected member of the British Cardiac Society executive committee, the British Society of Cardiac MRI and the Royal Society of Medicine Cardiology Committee. 

Notoriety

Dr Sado has received worldwide, national, and regional accolades for his research and has more than 75 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is often invited to deliver lectures and chair sessions at both national and international conferences and has recently lectured for the world health organisation on COVID 19 and myocarditis. 

Current

Dr Sado is lead for the cardiac MRI program at King's College Hospital, a leading teaching and research facility based in London. He is also the Cardiology co-lead for long COVID services in South East London and for the myocarditis clinic at Kings.
